To All plot members,
Depuy Synthes who occupy plot 40 on our allotment site, will be continuing with the gardening club for Hugh Gaitskell School to run every Wednesday on there plot between 12 o’clock & 2.30 pm. There will be two different groups who will be between seven & ten years old. There will be two teachers & staff from Depuy to supervise the children. Depuy volunteers already do some fantastic work in our community they want to educate children from the school working in a gardening environment, learning them how to grow fruit, vegetable’s, and flowers.
We want to wish them every success with there gardening projects.

Dear Plot members,
As you are aware we are a self managed allotment site recently Depuy Synthes took plot 40 to rent. They were good to us & paid for 2 x skips to tidy up the plot. As a good will gesture we want to weed the plot so it can be rotavated. We are looking for volunteers to spare a bit of time to help us this Tuesday 5th June & Tuesday 12th June nine o clock start. Any volunteers who would like to help see Mark Burton or Mick Hogan on site at the dates & time stated above. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Committee (Old Lane Allotments)
We seem to have a visitor on our allotment’s at the moment me (Mark Burton) & Marie Darlow managed to capture these camera shots on our plots. It seemed to be really tame & let me quite near. I just wanted to share the photos with our plot members.

To all plot members,
Depuy Synthes ( volunteers) now occupy plot 40 on our site, there will be a skip there on the main path for a couple of days to clear the rubbish left by the previous tennant
Depuy have been good enough to pay for the skips to remove the rubbish from their new plot. Can plot members please not put any rubbish in their skip.
Vehicles accessing the site will have to use (Old Lane entrance) while the clearing of the plot is complete.
