If you are new or old on our allotment site I wanted to write a blog on the charity organisations and the good they do in the community.
(BAFF) Better Action For Families – Who Occupy Plot 5 – They aim to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities and there families through delivering health & social groups, they run weekly groups to promote health & build confidence for parent/carers.
St Anne’s Community Services – Who Occupy plot 42E – The Outreach section of domiciliary care supporting adults with special educational needs in their own homes. This can either be in group homes for some of the clients, or parental or relatives homes.
DePuy Synthes Volunteers – Who Occupy plot 2W – The DePuy Synthes companies deliver innovative medical devices & solution in orthopaedics, spinal care, & neuroscience that help patients live full lives. They have a team of volunteers from there information technology department that help organisations in the community.
