The seed potatoes have arrived and have been sorted and divided up. If you have ordered some you need to see Mick Hogan to arrange payment and collection .
We are aware that plot holders have suffered
theft and destruction in their own huts and buildings. We need all plot holders to report any theft and damage directly to the police. The local police have told us that if we report the thefts as a block it only counts as a single crime! Therefore we are asking plot holders to ring 101 or e mail: innersouth@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
The Committee has written to the residents who live alongside the allotments to ask them to help us in the fight against theft and vandalism…..see below…
Installation of an intruder Alarm
Dear Residents,
During the last few months we have experienced a number of break-ins resulting in theft, structural damage and graffiti on our allotment site. Due to these circumstances we have installed a intruder alarm system. In the event of the alarm sounding please could you contact West Yorkshire Police ringing 999 to report the incident. We hope we can all work together to reduce crime in the Beeston area. We hope this doesn’t cause any undue inconvenience.”
